Seaside Oregon Brings All The Fun to Vacation
Whether you’re interested in beach volleyball, beach bonfires, golfing, horseback riding, exquisite food, or shopping sprees, Seaside, Oregon guarantees you more than just a day at the beach. There something for everyone, and it’s all within walking distance of our beachfront lodging! Visitors can literally dine and shop their way from one end of Broadway to the other.
Shop, Eat, and Play. Go on a shopping spree at any of the three unique shopping districts in Seaside. At the center of Seaside, on Broadway, is the Carousel Mall with shops offering apparel, imports, collectibles, gift and much more. In the Historic Gilbert District, east of the Necanicum River, also on Broadway you will discover boutiques, apparel store, art galleries, and a large antique mall. With no sales tax you also won’t want to miss the Seaside Factory Outlet stores located on Highway 101 just a half mile north of Broadway.
After your shopping spree, dine at one of our many local restaurants. Foodies will delight as local chefs celebrate the coastal bounty of the Pacific Northwest. There is something for every appetite in Seaside. Your trip will not be complete without enjoying many of the fun activities Seaside has to offer. From the largest arcade on the Oregon Coast to paddle boats on the Necanicum River, there will be non-stop fun for the whole family!
Pet Friendly Seaside Hotel
We are glad to welcome your pets to our Seaside hotel, one of Oregon Coast’s pet-friendly lodging locations. Pet fee is $20 per night.
While lodging with us, also stop in at the Astoria Column. In a wooded park and towering above Astoria, Oregon’s highest hill, the Astoria Column presents a spectacular view of the city and surrounding rivers, bay, forest, mountains and Pacific Ocean. Built in 1926, it is 125 feet high and has 164 steps winding to the top.
Seaside Oregon lodging also offers a unique opportunity to visit a number of important historical landmarks located nearby. Seaside is the location of Lewis and Clark’s “Trail’s End”. The end of this fateful journey is marked by an enormous bronze statue in the center of Seaside’s turnaround. Nearby you will also find the location of Lewis and Clark’s western most encampment, and Ecola State Park in Cannon Beach where expedition members found a whale washed ashore and traded with Native American’s for oil and blubber.
